It's possible that the bits rotate backwards on their way into the bit bucket.
Don't worry, it will work just fine. Look at your power brick .. it probably says 110v - 220v/230v, 50hz - 60hz. That makes it a universal power adaptor. The only thing you might need is a socket adaptor if the aussies use a different standard electrical plug than we do. Those are cheap.
