I am a newbie with Virgin Atlantic so please be patient.
I am trying to determine which is the better option to credit these flights to - DELTA or VIRGIN ATLANTIC.
I have no status in either program ; in fact I would be starting from scratch for Virgin Atlantic.

A series of 6 flights that will only credit 3,790 MQDs & 18,950 Miles
(according to pending entries in My Account Activity) to my DELTA SkyMiles account.
However given the Fare Basis Codes & the miles shown by airmilescalculator.com
I think that in Virgin Atlantic I would receive 44,864 Virgin Points (miles) & 310 Tier points.
The large difference is leg 6 where i believe Virgin Atlantic will post 22,708 miles instead of the 5,070 that would post to Delta!

1) Does anyone know if these calculations are correct? * ALL FLIGHTS are DELTA MARKETED **
2) Does anyone have experience with both programs that may have thoughts about what should
be thought about *BEFORE* changing the Freq Flyer # in the reservation from Delta to Virgin Atlantic?
For example, does it affect ability to select seats or other considerations?
Anything that i am missing on why i should credit to Delta instead?

Delta 2,680 miles / 536 MQDs
Virgin Atlantic 200% so 5,988 miles & 20 Tier points

Leg 4 - Fare basis Z
MileCalc 989 miles
Delta 885 miles / 177 MQDs
Virgin Atlantic 200% so 1,978 miles & 10 Tier points

Leg 5 - Fare basis Z

Delta 1,245 miles / 249 MQDs
