I'm flying WTP and I'm BA Silver, so I have been able to pick my seat (30J).




My partner is flying as well under a different PNR. They are currently BA Blue and they won't reach BA Bronze in time for this flight.

We are happy to pay for seats (on my partners PNR) but 30G and 30K are not showing up as available in the BA website for them.

What would be my best strategy to fly together with them without going into the middle seating? I'm thinking calling BA and get them to put me in 30K somehow (?) and then ask them to charge us 30J for my partner?

What are your thoughts?
