Rented a Bolt from an HLE for a few weeks recently, and set up the return for SFO so I could return at any time, was only a $20 surcharge. I mostly charged it at my office at slightly discounted rates. I only had to fast charge it once, a little slower than I would've liked but not too terrible. It was a nice commuting car and drove a lot better than I expected. The car even came with a Level1/2 charger in the trunk, which was an unexpected bonus.

The return person at SFO asked what charge level I picked it up with, and I shrugged and said maybe around 80%. I brought it back around 60-70% and they didn't charge me for the difference.

I was going to extend the rental for a few more days, but when I spoke to Hertz on the phone, they said the car was going to be sent to Hertz car sales.
