Sorry I wasn't clear. The screenshot wasn't my booking. I booked the ticket months ago and have been checking to see if upgrade space became available (I had not requested the upgrade before now). What you say makes sense, though. The YVR-BKK segment is in J cabin. I guess that's why is says there is space available. Incidentally, the PE fare is higher than J.
