It’s not new. This was a kind of unpublished benefit before and it was announced a few months ago as an official benefit. It was discussed at that time in another thread.
I was told last year that the overdraft was limited to 10% of the ticketprice. I needed to transfer miles from my wife's account to be under the 10%, otherwise the lady could not book the tickets.
I never had to repay these miles though.
