Just checking the 24 hour period before the flight to cancel and get your avois back is from the time of departure of the flight and assume that is local time?
So for example, if i have an avios booking on Cathay from HKG that leaves say 8:40am on 10th June - is my cut off for cancelling that in the UK by no later than 1:40am on June 9th (assumning HKG is 7 hours ahead as it is now)?
