If you want something to worry about then looking at current geopolitical situation, WW3 breaking out is far more likely (for real, .though still very unlikely! Pro Michael Clarke in recent interview increased the change of direct conflict with Russia to 20% if I remember right).
My point is that there are far more probable events to ruin your trip, from sudden illness, to Just Stop oil blocking the runway etc.
If I were you, I'd live in the present moment and not focus too much on the future. I have been flying with BA "seriously" since 2011 and never been downgraded on BA or any other airline.
