I need to draw on the wisdom of the forum. I have booked a DXB return for early october, with the outbound in WTP.

As it is still three weeks out I was hopeful of being able to select a window seat and snuggle up for a short sleep, but when selecting my seat all of the window seats are taken, with only aisle and middle seats free.

Is there any chance that some of those seats are bloacked for operational reasons and will be released or do I have to resign myself to an aisle seat?

Presumably the only way to check this is to keep n eye on the seat map regularly, or is there a cleverer way to set some kind of alert?
