Adding a recent data point

Room: Booked a base-level two twin room because it was cheapest. The day of, I sent in a note via chat saying I preferred a king bed if possible and requested an upgrade to a larger room or suite if available at checkin. First saw that they changed my room type in the app to the "trendy larger king." At check-in, they noted that I was upgraded to the mini suite on the top floor (which was indeed the highest level room for the days I was there based on the site/app).

Elite benefits: Room upgraded to highest available category without much hassle. As informed I'd have two decisions to make - the first was whether I wanted the 1000 points or the $10 USD food and beverage credit. (I opted for the credit and enjoyed a tasty subsidized cocktail at the bar.) The second was that since they didn't have a lounge, would I like breakfast or 750 points. (I opted for breakfast, which was quite hearty and of high quality.) 4pm checkout granted with no hassle either.

Staff: Front desk was extremely kind and professional every time I interacted with them. Bartender was knowledgeable about all the spirits, cocktails, and wines available.

Food and beverage: Had the cloudberry-infused bourbon old fashioned - very unique flavor and tasty. At breakfast, the eggs and mushrooms were the star. For a big pan of scrambled eggs, they stayed perfectly runny and soft. (There was even a bowl of "egg butter" you could add to your eggs...basically seasoned butter with small chopped pieces of hard-boiled egg. The mushrooms were cooked and seasoned perfectly, with large pieces of rosemary and whole garlic cloves dotted throughout. Succotash was also very good and a welcome vegetarian option. Sausage was also unique as it contained small chunks of at least 3 different types of sausage.

Facilities: The gym was very limited and small. Sauna available in the evenings and is unisex, so robe or swimwear required.

Minor issues: Like some European hotel fridges, the fridge just wasn't cold at all - lukewarm at best. So had to call down to have them send up buckets of ice several times. At checkout, noticed that $10 F&B credit not applied. Even with lots of clacking on the computer and tapping on a calculator, turns out the final amount was still incorrect. Had to contact property afterwards, whereby they apologized, credited my card, and sent the updated folio.

Location: 2 minute walk to the 2 tram. The 7 tram was probably a 6-7 minute walk. The 3 tram was about 10 min walk. The 10 tram was about a 6 minute walk. About a 6 min walk to catch the ferry. Very convenient to get around. My only complaint about the public transit system was that trams would often be ahead of schedule and depart earlier than the schedule! (Not something I have to worry about with the Boston transit system.)
