a codesharing agreement doesn't mean they're going to sell you a SAS-metal flight on any particular route, Delta is still going to be financially motivated to offer you an overwater flight on DL (or JV-operated) metal. The codesharing is just going to give you more intra-europe options after you get across the water on DL (or JV-operated) metal.
