Yesterday I flew BA112, JFK>LHR, in Club Suites. Flight time ~6 hours.

No pre-departure champagne was offered; just water and orange juice. Post-takeoff drink was served 45 minutes after takeoff. Meal service started even later and concluded over 2.5 hours after takeoff. On a six hour flight that was surely too slow? No wine was offered with my meal. Refill of my water took ages and the FA forgot multiple times. I squeezed in 2 hours of sleep before breakfast service but would have wanted a bit longer.

The service felt very slow. The FA was nice but next to useless and forgot to bring my meal (she was slow with everyone and seemed forgetful).

Not sure if my experience is isolated or if this is the norm on this route. No champagne? I’ve flown CS and CW multiple times and flew in First outbound to JFK where the service was excellent. Even in WTP I’ve been offered a pre-departure sparkling wine but not so last night!
