What's a good alternative no annual fee card? The annual fee is due in November, so I presume the deadline for changing the card is the fee due date?
Seems like you want a Freedom Flex - its a mastercard which has rotating 5% quarterly categories.
The deadline for changing and getting the annual fee refund is 30 days after the statement date on which the fee appears, though you may want to stick to 30 days after the fee posts to be safe.
