I'd be over the moon about staying here regardless of the price (it's such a unique hotel), but the fact that it participates in FHR is unbelievable. I've found some rates below $350/night after taxes, which is a steal given current hotel prices in Japan. And that's before factoring in the $200 FHR credit, $100 onsite credit, and breakfast if you're not a Globalist.

Don't forget to make a reservation for the Fuji Speedway Circuit Driving Experience in advance! They book up quick. Did that and it was one of the best experience of my life. The price has more than doubled since I did it in April but imo it's still very worth it. It's now about $60 for the car rental + 3 (guided) laps around Fuji Speedway. You need an international driving permit and if you choose a manual transmission car there's a little 'driving test' before you go into the circuit.
