Plan is to fly into Christchurch from Invercargill, pick up a car, thereafter self catering, so grocery shop in Christchurch, drive out to Banks Peninsular, couple of nights there, then back to Christchurch, either some time there or continue on up north along the east coast with whale watching penciled in, across the top and back down the other side to Greymouth, last night in Arthur's Pass before back to Christchurch to drop car off and fly back to Singapore.
