I'm looking to book a oneway redemption between HND and ITM using BA Avios and am curious if the business class option @ 17,500 Avios is in actual fact the JAL domestic J class or is it actually JAL domestic First? I can't imagine that anyone would consider paying 17,500 Avios for J when standard economy is only 10,500. Qatar Avios is only 12,500 Avios but they want $80USD in fees for the 'business class' option, or 6000 Avios and $50USD for economy. Again, is an Avios redemption for business class in a domestic JAL flight actually first, or is it just a J class seat?
