Trying to plan when to arrive at Malaga airport (AGP) flying Club Europe to LGW. We will have checked luggage, but I hate arriving so early that we're just wasting time at the airport. The BA website seems to indicate we can arrive and check in bags anytime up to 45 minutes before departure -- am I reading that right? What would be considered a safe but not excessively early arrival time? 75 minutes before departure? We'll be taking a van from Granada, which is 1.5 hours away.
Just walked through checkin at AGP flying BA to LGW and there is no bag drop. You just queue up in the shortest queue. I definitely would allow at least 75 mins and even then you're cutting in fine if things go Pete Tong.
My advice is to leave Granada earlier , take the stress out of the day , have a coffee in the lounge and get on your flight.
