Had an interesting one going to MIA on the 207 last week. Gate entrance was swarmed at C gates well before boarding started. They actually did call 0 but before I had finished standing up and grabbing my bag, they called group 1 so totally pointless. Mentioned this quietly to the gate lead as I passed and he had a go at me saying “we’re allowed to call them together” which I thought was an odd response. Encouraged me to send feedback. So I encouraged him to send feedback if he didn’t feel like following procedure. Cut things off there as I didn’t want to end up on the DYKWIA thread.
