Had a last-minute stay a couple of weeks ago. Requested a noon check-in, but ended up getting in an hour late. The room was ready at check-in, but the front desk offered us an upgrade since we were assigned a standard room on a lower floor. We were given the choice between a Marina View Corner Suite or an Ocean View Corner Suite, with a wait of an hour or two. We chose the ocean view, left our bags with valet, and went to find food. The suite was spacious and had a great view, and despite the busy pools and slides, we hardly heard any noise.

Breakfast was underwhelming for the price charged. The food spread was average and on par with standard breakfast buffet selections. We recently stayed at a different Hyatt Regency where the breakfast buffet for three people was around $104. Here, the cost for the buffet, coffee, and juice for two people was $110.

Given the property’s remote location, the car wait times were longer than what we are used to. Fortunately, all of our destinations were nearby, so the actual car rides were quick and easy. Overall, our stay was great. Made a note to come back for any future trips with kids. Looking forward to trying out the kayak and paddleboard rentals next time.
