I originally planned to leave from and 30 days later arrive back in MAN. However, in reading the thread concerning MAN, I am having 2nd thoughts.

Naturally I want the extra (40+40)X2=160 TPs that extension will give me. I want to get Gold status by the end of 2025, doing a similar trip in Nov-Dec 2025.

MAN is nowhere near as bad as that topic suggests. If that is the most convenient airport, and the price is right, no need to avoid it. MAN is my home airport and I'm there very regularly, most times I'm through security in minutes - often car drop-off to lounge in under 20 minutes. I certainly wouldn't go out of my way just to avoid it.
