I should also say that the food taste-wise was overall also a bit of a mixed bag. What was top-notch was everything from the starter and dessert trolleys. The grilled meats as main dish was also very good, while the lamb shank on IST-VIE was absolutely disgusting and what I would imagine a rotting sheep cadaver taste like. Indian-style chicken according to +1 on the same flight was very tasty. What was really disappointing was the breakfast, as we usually love turkish breakfasts. The cold cuts plate with the sides (fruit, honey and cheese, ...) was always very good but then the hot main dishes were just not. Pancakes were too dry to a point where all the vanilla cream and berry compote had dried up and sticking to the sides. The omelette was laying in greenish color condensate water, which looked and tasted absolutely disgusting. It made me wonder what they even have an onboard chef for if they can't prepare/reheat it properly. The Gözleme tasted like absolutely nothing. The best hot breakfast dish was the ham-cheese-toast, which did however not feel like much of a premium meal that you would expect. Again it was weird that they only came around once to everyone with their bread basket per meal. I am used to multiple rounds of bread basket offerings even on short-haul business class with OS or AF ("Can I offer you some more bread or something sweet?") and even more so on longhaul. Basically for the breakfast we first choose orange juice and a small roll to "accompany" the more salty cold cuts plate. But then they never asked again if maybe we want also a croissant or danish afterwards or a coffee or tea. It is literally even a standard in most airlines' longhaul economy service to have a separate coffee/tea round but apparantely not in Turkish Business Class (not for lunch/dinner either when dessert was served, and of course digestives or something were not proactively offered or even just put on display on the trolley either).

Of course you can always ask but you really should not have to, especcially not for absolutely basic stuff like a water refill or coffee for breakfast/dessert. The eyeroll and general reluctancy did not make us want to ask either tbh.

@the810 my three tips would be to a) expect nothing of the hot breakfast or even skip it and have breakfast at the lounge, b) bring enough water with you, if possible (at PTY, after the usual general security control stations to get airside, they also had a second security control at the gate, which I've never seen before and caused like 80% of passengers having to angrily discard the water they just bought), c) be prepared having to actively ask for all the drinks and extra bread you want. That might make the experience better / more controlled.
