This is mainly to report an odd issue I experienced when attempting to book a private transfer through Ryanair Transfers (

As part of an upcoming FR flight, I booked private transfer between CHQ and a hotel. This was around 80 EUR return for two passengers and booked a day or two after the flight booking.
After completing the transfer booking, I did not receive any email confirmation but I could see the 80 EUR marked as pending on my credit card statement.
48 hours passed and still no email with the transfer booking reference (this is a different reference from the flight booking). Contacted FR's online chat and the agent could not find any records for my booking. I wa advised to wait a few days and the pending payment would get automatically cancelled.
After one week from my "booking", the pending transaction gets cancelled from my card and I decide to book a car rental instead.
Today (12 days since my original booking for the private transfer), I received an email from Ryanair with my transfer booking details and reference! I immediately logged in with the booking reference and cancelled it as I had other transport arrangements made.
During the cancellation process, I was asked for a reason for the cancellation and one of the options was something in the lines of "took too long to receive confirmation".
I just wanted to share this so people are aware in the future when booking private transfers through Ryanair.
