Anyone have any insight into what AC will do for those of us with outbound flights that get cancelled, but return flights that are (hopefully) not affected? Normally if you cancel the first leg of an RT it cancels the whole ticket, but if they're cancelling the first leg due to the strike, wouldn't it be in their interest to keep bookings alive for the return, rather than lose that revenue entirely? The cynic in me assumes they will let us keep the 2nd legs but reprice them to a one-way, and claim no refund, or a very small refund, is due.
I have a flexible PY ticket with e-ups cleared at booking on both legs. I can make a one way refundable booking with someone else in case my first flight gets cancelled, but I'd much prefer to keep my confirmed e-up for the return, which is hopefully far enough out that this will be resolved by then.
