The Jazz employees I know won't be crossing AC picket lines.

They most certainly won't be doing any flying that resembles a last minute coverage of a mainline route.
Frankly there are barely enough crews to handle current QK routes, let alone extra flying.

QK f/a & pilots, and mainline f/a's are due for contract renewal next year.
There is plenty of support amongst those groups for AC pilots.

The stock market isn't scared of the labour dispute.

I listened to you and I have booked a fully refundable MSP-DTW-MSP ticket on UA. Driving home from DTW annoys the hell of me, but what else can I do?
Edit: Now I have a MSP-YYZ-YXU on AC and a MSP-ORD-DTW on UA booked for Sept. 20. I hope none of them gets cancelled by the airlines until I know which one to cancel.
Edit 2: The UA reservation has been already cancelled by UA. Hopefully there still will be tickets to DTW available next week.
