People are making a really big deal about 130k versus 150k. It's not nothing. But it's also the Maldives, so everything is just expensive. Personally, I think Huvafen Fushi rooms and common areas looks nicer that Malaidhoo post-2024 renovation. Food options look better And no hassle of a sea plane.

I emailed ahead to get an upgrade offer. It was $200 per night to upgrade to the ocean view bungalow. Not sure if they will offer this complementary for diamond closer to the date. I took the upgrade offer though, wanted access to the reef and the sunset view. The ocean view bungalow also has a separate living room if you are looking for a little extra space.

HF also has a kids club. I don't know that there is much info online: "A patch of paradise for young explorers. Guests of all ages are welcome. Children can enjoy our parental-supervised kids’ corner located beside the main pool, featuring a dedicated fun space for those under 10 years old."
