ovacikar, not a snide remark, but no FT veteran takes ANY Skytrax rating seriously as Skytrax is a one man band that awards most things pay for play. Furthermore, we are comparing TK lounges with the IGA lounge, so even if Skytrax was legit, posting and INDEPENDENT LOUNGE award would be absolutely pointless for this particular conversation, wouldn't it. BTW as further proof of how poor the IGA lounge is, It has been open what, five years now, 2 of those years were Covid years when barely anyone flew, and they are already doing a gut renovation? This after changing their entire catering and service staff in recent months?!
