SYD-MEL or SYD-BNE can be a bit of a hurry-up hustle because it's such a short sector for actual 'level' flying time, but SYD-AKL is certainly long enough to deliver an amazing business class service.
Perhaps, but most Euro business class are just economy seats with a free seat in between, I quite like the TT 737 product as at least its a better seat, and I always find he crew super friendly, and have always been offerred real champagne (or I have been well tricked!).

Agree that the food can be average but on these short flights the tray service doesnt bother me. On the late flights from SYD that land at or after midnight I always sleep for at least an hour. And this is probably the one flight where I dont mind the (almost constant!) delays as I can enjoy dinner and a few drinks in F lounge!

I have even had a few op ups TT, which is hugely appreciated. once when I boarded which was a really great surprise.

I fly out of CHC so the competition is Air NZ or JQ, and QF J blows them out of the water, and its often a very good upgrade redemption value on flexis (and I have almost always had my upgrades come through)
