I completed a two-night stay here in mid-August. I was reluctant to stay here given the generally lackluster reviews in this thread, but I found it to be just fine.

My family was in the area and didn’t have any particular plan for what we wanted to do. I had hoped the Andaz Napa would open up but there was never anything on points for 3 people. We booked this hotel instead day of arrival for 2 nights at around $175 per night. I thought that was reasonable for a summer weekend.

Room: Since we booked day of arrival I didn’t expect any sort of upgrade and we were placed in a standard courtyard-view room. I had no complaints with the room. We needed a rollaway for our son and this was delivered at no charge. We also received a bottle of wine at check-in, I don’t drink wine and brought it to my Mother-in-Law so hopefully it was good!

S'mores: On Saturday night the hotel has free s’mores at the fire pit, that was a fun treat. It’s help yourself to the materials in the lobby and then bring it to the fire pit for roasting.

Breakfast: As noted above, limited to the buffet. The bacon was excellent, the eggs were not so good, but there were good berries as well. Overall it was fine but not memorable.

Parking: We had a rental car and street parked it right across from the hotel. I had no trouble either night we were there finding parking.

Location: It’s walkable to the downtown which has plenty of dining options. The walk is a bit weird in that you have to go through an underpass under the mall and the 101, but it was perfectly fine. During business hours you can cut through the mall instead. I enjoyed visiting Russian River Brewing which is probably a 12 minute walk.

In Conclusion This isn’t a destination hotel for me but I would gladly return if in the area.
