I have a NCE-YUL-YYZ flight with AC on September 20 booked in Latitude B.

​​​​​​I'm generally familiar with my EU 261 entitlements in the scenario of a flight cancellation ex-EU due to a labour disruption.

What I can't find an obvious answer to is baggage fees. For various reasons I needed 2 checked bags on this trip. Latitude B includes 2 free bags on AC. But when I look at even the highest-fare economy ticket on Star Alliance carriers that could get me home (primarily Lufthansa or Swiss), they only include 1 free bag.

Am I entitled to a second free bag given that it was included in my originally purchased fare? If so, is this a situation where I would pay the bag fee at check-in and later seek reimbursement?
