so basically, I cannot even alter a partial routing to reprice the itinerary to exec low, was intended to change from
YYZ-NRT-TPE-BKK-SIN to YYZ -TPE-SIN-BKK. The answer is no after 5.5 hrs waiting, the new availability needs to be there as well for TPE-SIN-BKK, not only BR 35 from YYZ to TPE, which now the system does not have TPE to SIN inventory available, the agent and the lead refused to do repricing unless I can piece another whole new itinerary. Pathetic, I may shift my redemption strategy to other programs
Rerouting and repricing should be possible if there is availability in the fare that you want. Some flights are also "married" to the adjacent segments and these cannot be broken up.

In an upcoming booking I started with YYZ-CDG//CDG-MUC-STR//STR-MUC-LIN//MXP-YUL-YYZ, which then becomes YYZ-CDG//CDG-MUC-STR//STR-MUC-LIN//MXP-YUL-SFO and then becomes YYZ-CDG//CDG-MUC-STR//STR-MUC-LIN//MXP-YUL-SFO//SFO-YYZ. Rerouting and adding stops with no issue. Some agents may not have the experience to do it, but I have worked with agents who go out of his/her way to help you even in complex AP itinerary.
