My two cents: it’s better to have the ticket reissued now. That way you have a true D1 ticket and with any schedule changes both a computer/human should see you in D1 and not PS. Also an unreissued ticket will likely cause checkin issues. Based on experience with KE agents at BKK, that is not something you want to have to deal with at Suvarnabhumi. However if this is just the return portion of a trip where the ticket originates in the US, any ticketing issues would likely be discovered when you try to fly the outbound.

Also I see no problem in having the GUC attached to the short DTW-LGA segment. The GUC is going to be “used” on the ICN-DTW segment and the same GUC will cover the DTW-LGA segment. I’d call back and have a different agent apply the same GUC to that segment as well, and then firmly/politely insist the ticket is reissued.
