I'm looking for new hotels in Munich for next week, new because I am very mold sensitive and usually the newer hotels are best for me. I first thought the Munich Marriott Hotel City West with the lounge. But I keep reading reviews that the area around the train stain is really seedy and feels unsafe. It's also very far from the touristy stuff. The Residence Inn Munich Central is newly remodeled at at least at the east end of the train station,and on the south side. I read another thing too that the train station is undergoing a lot of work and a mess. Anyone been there recently that can comment about these issues with the train station? I'm not Marriott centric, searched for any brand of new hotels and they seemed to have a few. Thanks!
