542 is a dinner and 548 is a breakfast IIRC.

For the dinner, there are usually 4 choices: Chinese, Japanese, Western and Vegetarian. Breakfast is the usual congee dimsum omelette combo.

CX, unlike NA carriers, always serves something in J. Even on their 20-min CAN-HKG runs, they would offer a small canapé box
