Trying to book a flight in business class from Europe to LAX, it costs 3600EUR with no miles, and 3530EUR with 20.000 miles. So, 20.000 miles seem to be worth around 70EUR in this case.
And the largest bundle on offer for 150.000 miles is around 1800EUR. Which seems crazy...Am I missing something?

What you seem to be looking at is reducing the cash portion of a paid flight with miles, which is one of the worst ways to use miles. Instead, you should look at award flights on the Miles & More website. You need at least 7k miles in your account to access the award search. A routine J return flight to the US should cost 112K miles and ~ 1000€ fees (yes, that high) depending on your starting country. I'll leave it up to you to asses if that's a good deal or not.
