It declined a lot after COVID. QF used that as an excuse to get away with cuts to catering.... remember you could get soup as the first course!
Instead the idea of give everything on a single tray was to reduce crew interaction as part of COVID measures.
With QF having a near monopoly for Business Class across the Tasman they have no incentive to improve the offering.
