JW Marriott Auckland is going to be a top destination in Auckland soon. Location is fantastic as it's about a 5 minute walk to the Ferry terminal. Rooms are upgraded to the 5th floor and are outstanding. No lounge yet however breakfast we received (as a Lifetime Platinum) was a fantastic buffet for 2. They offered appetizers and drinks from 4-6 PM at the lounge bar which we missed unfortunately as we checked in late. I agree that service is a little hit and miss for a JW but with more training it will get better.
