As an ex-LEGO employee that commuted between BLL and LON, the price & demand means this route is hard to support.

BLL-LCY is mainly LEGO employees, travelling for work. The travel policy changed to emphasise "responsible travel", read: "travel only when absolutely necessary".

The policy also changed where they were far more strict about not choosing the lowest fare option, which then included Ryanair.

The LCY options were always more expensive than LHR, and obviously more expensive than STN (with Ryanair). So even if you went with BA, you would likely be violating policy as it was way above the lowest price, and so that means you've got maybe a handful of Directors (and above) that could get away with it.
