I'm a QF frequent flyer and and flying London-Doha-KUL on a BA-sold flight operated by Qatar. The selling class comes up as Q on the BA site, which should be eligible for QF status points. However, I seem to recall that in the past this hasn't happened - they've gone by the Qatar selling class (which isn't shown but is typically ineligible for QF status points on discount economy flights) Does anyone know what the current situation is?

In Oneworld ff earning are based on the marketing carrier(flight number) when an eligible operating carrier.
While your flight was
sold by BA what is the flight number?
Earnings on QR Qatar marketed flights to QF ffp are poor or even nil. Earnings on BA marketed flights to QF ffp are better.
With QF ffp the
earn category does not always match the fare class of travel. MH is very bad.
QF ff earnings have not changed since Oct 2021. Some did not change.
You ask about "status points" QF has status credits (tier levels) and QF ff points (for redeemable travel)
