EC261 does not apply. I doubt that UK261 applies (it would not if it is a direct translation of EC251 as this is a flight ARRIVING in UK).

Thank you both for coming back. I did think that neither of those will apply. Ultimately, do/would Qatar payout any compensation for delays like these? I'm trying to get an indication of past precedence. When I email Qatar, I would like to know what I should be emailing about. Do I just say I'm expecting some compensation (whether monetary or avios) from them for the inconvenience they have caused me and disrupted my onward travel in the UK. Or do I specify any fixed amounts that I'm seeking.
