Personally, I wouldn't bother this type of research. I'd just search for new flights, find what works, and call AA to request that. This connection time is too short for my comfort level, but connecting to ORD-DCA shouldn't require a connection time of more than 1-2 hours 3 months in advance. If you give us more specifics (specific days, airports, etc.), we can probably find something for you too in relatively short order.
