When did they stop offering compensation? I had an overbooked flight from PHL to LAX a couple of years ago and they offered a few options in the app, plus a couple of hundred dollars (nothing major, but not nothing).
This is why I posted- on the routes I fly, I get the cash offers frequently, but today was the first time (ever) I was presented with no compensation options. I was only presented with 4 bad flight alternatives. There is an earlier nonstop I would take, but it was not listed. And the Admirals Club agent just said they cannot override what is presented in the app.
