To answer your question: that's 1/2 mile in terminal.
Absolutely zero guarantee as to gates 60+ days out other than Eagle is usually at "G" and the high "L" gates (I was reminded that sometimes Eagle uses gates like H1 and L2 and K1 which are tucked into the corners of the concourses).
