I think this is fraud as I didn't see anywhere that they are deducting a $7 fee from the cards
You need to look up the balance yourself and not blindly trust the front desk associate. Click on "Check Balance" up top:

It sounds like the $7 is from a 15% hold, not because of a "processing fee" which has already been pointed out is against the card issuer's own T&C.
