Where are you flying in from? 34 mins is do-able if you're on time however it leaves no room for error.
Did you book this connection originally or was there a schedule change and now this is what you have? Also is the ORD-DCA flight Eagle as well? The MCT at ORD is 35 mins for connections to/from mainline however that drops to 29 mins for Eagle-Eagle connections.
