If you are successful in getting approved on the 15th you will not be able to generate a card number online and will unfortunately need to wait for the physical card. You can only get your number online if the application is approved instantly. I've had this experience in the past where I was approved after a reconsideration (or just that it took a few days for them to review and approve an application) and in those cases I had no choice but to wait for the card to arrive in order to be able to begin using it.
