Just a helpful note, I rented in Orange County and signed up for OC direct billing of the tolls since I don't have my own transponder. OC is per day and I returned the car mid morning. They rented the car the same day and I got stuck with the tolls for the next renter. It was a couple of bucks but had I known I would have ended my OC direct bill the evening before and taken a non toll route to the airport.
