My wife and I are expecting soon and hoping to travel to the Christmas markets in Germany. Point redemptions are cheap at this time and I tempted to book now and add the infant once born and we're sure he's healthy. Am I correct that the cost is 10% of the price up to $250 (for points redemption)? Currently planning to book through United on Lufthansa metal. Return trip to be determined. Any advice or recommendations? We're doing a trial run on a shorter flight prior to this trip.
