i mean no offense, but please dont be so naive. the one off LTT was 100% due to public pressure from members. There is no rule that says one off accommodations must be made during corporate mergers. marriott could open up LTT any time they wanted. They feel like they dont need to today, that may change tomorrow. The odds of it happening will only go up with more people asking for it. You may be right LTT qualification may very well be dead. but you know the only 100% surefire way to make sure it stays that way? not asking for it.
