Didn't see anyone moving around onsite or outside. They're accepting reservations for November 15th onwards at the astronomical-by-Doha-standards price of 437 USD a night on an advance purchase rate, but I'm not sure if they can hustle to make that deadline given the very quiet state the property looked to be in.

Doha is already oversupplied with hotel rooms, and even driving through the West Bay, you can see the nearly completed but stalled EDITION and JW Marriott towers sitting empty. The EDITION at least looks like it moved along with the hoarding now removed and the front entrance installations in place, but it's still boarded up with plywood and I'm not sure how the interior works have progressed.

Very curious.

Thank you so much! Massively appreciate.

Looks like my reservation for 4,5,6 might become grand hyatt. Guess its a bargain at 12000pts then
