I'm still unsure about tile.. It gives a decent aproximate location but ive never lost that backpack as It's always on me (even in my bedroom) and i rarely leave it alone due to my entire profession as a laser show designer relying on it.
The benefit of tile is that you can hide it from tracking when you sign an agreement that doesn't let a thief disable it and it can make a sound when instructed (and having a card format tile you can stick inside of your laptop on the battery itself).
However it doesn't have as accurate proximity tracking of a airtag... im also unsure how well tile tracks with the phones around.. ive been told good but i really should buy a tile to field test a loss of a unit.
